Moreover, the wood keepsake box with the watch presented on a burlap pillow makes for a beautiful gift for someone you love - hence, the anniversary theme.This watch is lightweight and very comfortable, despite it's larger size. The face is prominent for a woman's watch, but if she likes to make a statement, I say this is befitting. It is, indeed, real walnut around the diameter of the face, and in the intermittent links. The walnut throughout has a lot of beautiful movement and variation in the grain, and it was left in its natural state. The rest of the watch is an alloy, as described. It has a modern, straightforward design. It's well made, and feels quite durable to last for many years with proper care. I would not wear it in water.It arrived with a plastic protective cover over the watch face. The metal and walnut band closes with a folding clasp mechanism that is secure and stays tightly in place. It's also easy to reopen.It's a handsome watch for either women or men, in my opinion.
